8 Limbs of Yoga
This series of classes will help us develop our understanding of yama (values), niyama (observances), asana (physical practice), pranayama (breathing), pratyahara (re-directing the sense organs), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (unity with the divine). Students will study how these limbs relate to the practice of yoga. Reading, writing and experiential assignments will be given to help us integrate the eight limbs of yoga.
