Yoga for everybody

Most of our students fall within the 35-65 age range, though we have students in their early 20’s through early 80’s. We practice yoga to keep our bodies healthy and our minds calm and focused. The strength and flexibility which comes from regular practice are welcome benefits.

Classes are non-competitive with neither dogma nor politics. We do yoga to cultivate increased ease in our body while bringing balance to hormonal, metabolic and emotional systems.

Portland Yoga Arts is a community studio. Our teachers volunteer at local non-profits. We give to local charities, host fundraisers and give to the yoga community by training exceptional yoga teachers. Portland Yoga Art’s business model enables teachers to earn a living while the studio functions essentially as a non-profit.
